ABOUT

Marinel Sheu (b. 1996, Albania) is an interdisciplinary illustrator and artist based in Dublin, Ireland, also known as CEO of Vibe, whose practice spans both digital and physical mediums.

Marinel began creating digital art at the age of 14 and has never stopped exploring new ways to make art. His passion for music, photography, design, and visual storytelling has evolved into a full-time creative career spanning over seven years. He has become widely recognized for his distinctive aesthetic, blending futuristic city-pop, Mediterranean warmth, and nostalgia imagined through the lens of tomorrow.

His work draws inspiration from Japanese artists such as Katsuhiro Otomo, Hiroshi Nagai, and Eijin Suzuki, alongside European influences including David Hockney and Moebius. The result is a visual language that merges architecture, travel, cinematic lighting, and nostalgic atmosphere into vibrant, dreamlike worlds.

Throughout his career, Marinel has collaborated with brands including Gucci, Disney, Netflix, NBC, Hen’s Teeth, Lofi Girl, Vice, Hi Ibiza, and W1 Curates. He has also worked alongside artists such as Daniel Arsham, NABIL, and James Vincent McMorrow.

His work has been featured by leading design publications, including It’s Nice That, which highlighted his signature use of sunset lighting and everyday urban scenes.
